Snide, Sarcastic, Flippant. A phrase filled with negativity, usually used to point out things people dislike about our town and its residents. While it is sometimes said in response to a legitimate issue, those are almost always an issue that affects other communities and is rarely, if ever, “only in Marion.”

We’re fed up with Marion bashing – so we’re taking the phrase back.

Over and over and over again we’ve heard people say that they’d like to see positive publicity about Marion instead of all the negativity, so that’s what we’re doing. Whether it’s a positive news article, or just a good deed that someone did for someone else, we want to share it with the world. There is a lot of good out there and we want people to know it.

This website is run by Neighborhood Image, a local company owned and operated by two lifelong Marion natives. We have chosen to stay in Marion and appreciate all the good within the community and want to use this website to help highlight the positives.
